“LOVE WEEK 2020”, hosted by “Bless Fruitland Park." They will be working together with others within our community to saturate Fruitland Park with Random Acts of Kindness and activities February 8-16th, 2020. Some of the opportunities you can participate in or take advantage of are as follows:
- Bless Days: We are encouraging area Fruitland Park restaurants and businesses to “Bless” their customers through discounts or other special acts of kindness. In addition, we are asking people during “LOVE WEEK” to be creative in carrying out random acts of kindness towards others . Make a difference by participating and help us spread the word. Preschool Day at the Library: Wednesday February 12th, from 10:30-11:30 am-To volunteer or for more details please contact Joann Glendinning at the Library at 352-360-6561 or email@example.com.
Senior Adult Luncheon: A Senior Adult fellowship and Bingo will be held at the new Fruitland Park Community center located at 205 W. Berckman St. in Fruitland Park on Wednesday February 12th from 11:30-1:30. For more information contact Michelle Yoder at (352) 771-3417.
First Responders and Public service personnel: Local churches and individuals will be bringing cookies and sweets to the Fruitland Park Fire Department, Police office as well as the Public Works office during “Love Week” Please contact Rev. George Mulford at (352)516-9134 for more information on how you can be involved and participate.
Love Week 5K for Local food pantries and Fruitland Park Family nights: This event helps bring awareness to hunger within our community and raise funds to help our neighbors in need as well as provide funding for monthly movie night held on the lawn at city hall.
