Our Belief Statement:

The Bible -- We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit to write words of Scripture. It is also the divine authority for "real" living in our daily lives. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

God -- We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). God the Father, Creator of everything; God the Son, the Savior sent by God; the Holy Spirit, indwelling all those who receive by faith Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:14; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Mankind -- We believe that man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort. (Genesis 1:26, 2:17, 3:17-24; Isaiah 59:1-2; Romans 3:9-19, 23, 5:8; Luke 18:26-27; Ephesians 2:13)

Salvation -- We believe that Jesus Christ is "the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14:6) Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but it was through Him we might be saved. We believe in the eternal security of the believer. (John 1:12-13, 3:1-7, 14-16, 10:27-29; Acts 26:20; Romans 1:16, 8:14-17, 31-39, 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 1:7, 13-14, 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:3-5)

The Christian Life -- We believe that every Christian is called to live as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance: but like as he who called you is holy, be yourselves also holy in all manner of living (1 Peter 1:14-15). By obedience to the Word and daily yielding to the Spirit, every believer will mature and become conformed to the image of Christ. (Galatians 2:20; 1 Peter 1:15-16, 2:11; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Romans 6:11-13; Ephesians 2:10, 4:11-12, 22-24; 1 Peter 4:10-11; Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 1:10; John 15:8, 16)

Church -- We believe that the Church is the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to a lost world. (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 1:20-23, 4:1-6, 12-16; Matthew 28:18-20; John 17; Colossians 1:24-29)

The Lord's Supper and Baptism --We believe that biblical baptism, according to the scriptures,  is the immersion of a believer in water to identify with the death, burial and risen Savior, through whom we died to sin and rose to a new life. Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward change. Baptism is an act of obedience and identification with Christ that follows the example that Jesus himself set by being baptized. We believe that the Lord's Supper is the commemoration and remembrance of Jesus’s death until He returns and should be preceded by solemn self-examination. The elements themselves represent the body and blood of Jesus in symbol only. There is no saving grace extended to the participant of these ordinances. (Matthew 3:16, 28:19-20; John 3:23; Acts 2:14-24, 8:36, 38-39; Romans 6:3-6; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28; Colossians 2:12)

The Family -- God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate to their children God’s pattern for marriage. (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:15-25; Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Proverbs 5:15-20; 6:20-22; 13:24; 22:6,15; Malachi 2:14-16; Matthew 5:31-32; 18:2-5; 19:3-9; Mark 10:6-12; Romans 1:18-32; I Corinthians 7:1-16; Ephesians 5:21-33; 6:1-4; I Timothy 5:14; Hebrews 13:4; I Peter 3:1-7.)
